Bayley competed in karting from age 6 till 12, then stepped into a Hyundai Excel in 2017 at age 14, before progressing to Touring Cars at the tender age of 15.
At the age of 16 he moved up to the V8 powered Marc Cars and competed in the prestigious Bathurst 12 Hour plus other endurance races.
To take his first step towards his goal of international GT Racing, Bayley joined MR for his debut in the 2021 Michelin Sprint Challenge Cup Championship. Despite a truncated Michelin Sprint Challenge season, Bayley stepped up to Carrera Cup in the new 992 Cup car for the 2022 championship and as expected took podiums and race wins in 2023.
Bayley has his sights firmly set on becoming the 2024 Carrera Cup champion.

What are your top 3 Career Highlights so far?
- Becoming the youngest Bathurst 12 Hour Podium achiever at the age of 16.
- Winning my very first Porsche Carrera Cup race at my home streets of the Gold Coast 500.
- Racing internationally in the Porsche Carrera Cup North America Championship.
Have you raced in any other events or categories?
- Go Karting from 6 years old to 12.
- Stepped into a Hyundai Excel at 14 years old and into a VE Holden Commodore at 15.
- Only just 16 when I first raced for Marc Cars Australia driving the Ford Focus V8 in GT1- Australia including the Bathurst 12-Hour.
- At 17, for 2021 Racing in Michelin Sprint Challenge Championship.
- Then in 2022 made the step up into Porsche Carrera Cup until now.
Any other personal interests you would like to share?
- Qualified Mortgage Broker and Financial Planner completing Masters degrees and working in the family business.
- Becoming a highly regarded driver coach where I get to share the passion and my knowledge of driving fast.
What are your favourite motorsport moments?
- Winning on the streets of Surfers Paradise in 2023 was an unreal experience that I certainly will never forget.
What is your all-time favourite race car?
- Porsche 992 GT3 Cup Car
What is your favourite race circuit?
- Spa-Francorchamps is certainly a favourite track I’ve driven for many reasons but Eau Rouge can not be underestimated.
