Mount Panorama Circuit Bathurst

The AMRC (awesome MR crew) always look forward to Bathurst as we have won this round many times over the years with drivers like Michael Patrizi, Shae Davies, Luffy, Matty Campbell (twice) Jaxon Evans (first equal) and Cooper Murray. Due to atrocious weather last year, where we only got one actual race, we were looking forward to far better conditions and many more race laps this year.

This round was going to be tougher than normal having three international ring-ins Chris van der Drift, our 2022 Champion Harri after his first Supercup campaign in Europe and Supercup race winner Harry King join us for the weekend.

Summary

Congrats to Jackson taking 4th for the round (which would have been a round win without the wild cards!) and an awesome performance by our rookie Ryder with 2 top-10 finishes.

13th for the round for Christian and a outstanding comeback from Bayley after a race 1 DNF to top-10 in race 3 and 6th in the Championship standings.

A DNF from a burnt out clutch in race 2 dropped Tim Miles to 8th in Pro-Am for the round.

Many thanks to the awesome MR Crew for their usual ripper performance, including a front tub replacement on Bayley’s car on Friday night. Now we head back to the Gold Coast to unload our Carrera Cup cars, load our Sprint Challenge cars and head to Adelaide for Michelin Sprint Challenge next weekend.
